The Scottsdale Gallery Association celebrates the season — and the culmination of its 45th anniversary season — with the Art & Chocolate Summer Spectacular Gold Palette ArtWalk on Thursday, July 9.

The summertime Gold Palette ArtWalk, which is held throughout the Scottsdale Arts District — along Main Street from Scottsdale Road to Goldwater Boulevard and north of Indian School on Marshall Way to 5th Avenue – is the setting for guests to visit galleries and view local and national art.

Chocolate courtesy of local chocolatier Cerreta Candy Company along with live music, according to a press release, there will be pre-wrapped chocolate tastings from the national chocolate manufacturer that has been located in the Valley for more than 50 years.

The event is “sure to make for a sweet summer evening,” the release said, describing how the SGA-hosted Gold Palette ArtWalk and participating member galleries will celebrate the 45th season anniversary with special musical entertainment, live artist demonstrations.

“We are proud to be celebrating four and a half decades spent supporting the growth and development of our own arts district and a community of amazing artistic talent,” said Scottsdale Gallery Association President French Thompson in a prepared statement.

“We hope to continue to be the collaborative force for our artists to thrive in here Scottsdale — as well as on a national and global scale — for many more decades to come.”
