Scottstdale’s Baháʼí Faith Community Center holds performance to celebrate diversity

The Baháʼí  Faith Community Center’s Race Amity Day celebration is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., June 7.

The free dance performance will be held at the center, 6910 E. Shea Blvd., in Scottsdale and is open to all.

Featured Performers are:

  • Sonia Valle – Sonia is the dance program director at Paradise Valley Community College and currently teaches ballet, modern dance, performance and choreography.  

  • Sacrifice9  –  His music explores themes of self-sacrifice, universal oneness, and personal growth.

  • Diversoul – Born in Wailuku, Hawaii, Diversoul has always felt outside the box—navigating the margins of race, beauty, and belonging. His lyrical delivery is clear, thought-provoking, and deeply sincere. 

  • Mihika Marwaha – Trained under teacher Rajul Shah and choreographer Kelucharan Mohapatra.

     

The Baháʼí Faith regards racism as a major barrier to peace which cannot be breached without the recognition of the fundamental oneness of all peoples and the establishment of justice.
