Scottsdale’s St. Apkar Armenian Apostolic Church hosting ArmeniaFest

St. Apkar Armenian Apostolic Church is Arizona’s only Armenian church and recently celebrated the 14th anniversary of its consecration. Its parishioners are proud descendants of the first Christian nation, and celebrate their faith within the rich culture of its Armenian heritage.

St. Apkar Armenian Apostolic Church, 8849 E. Cholla St. in Scottsdale, will hold its annual ArmeniaFest Nov. 2-3.
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 2 and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 3.
ArmeniaFest is a weekend-long celebration of Armenian culture and will feature live music, a DJ, dancers, vendors, a kids zone, and a variety of authentic Armenian cuisine, including kebab, sarma, boureg, lahmejune, hummus, taboulleh, gata, baklava, and choreg as well as Armenian cognac, beer, wine and coffee.
Tickets are $5 and children under 10 are free. Parking is free and veterans and active military personnel will receive a 10% food discount.
