Students at Camelback Desert School in Scottsdale recently donated $500 in gift cards to Child Crisis Arizona.

During the month of December, students collected a variety of gift cards to bring joy to local families around the holidays. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of spreading kindness and helping others in their community, a press release explained.

Child Crisis Arizona provides emergency shelter, foster care, adoption, counseling, early education and parenting support services to Arizona’s most vulnerable children, youth and families.
