Scottsdale Society of Women Writers welcomes author Carolyn V. Hamilton on Dec. 14 at 6 p.m. for its monthly meeting.
Hamilton is an author of two memoirs and an autobiography and a success coach for memoir writers, according to a press release. She teaches classes online and does private one-on-one coaching.
Hamilton has published five books for memoir writers. She is a multi-genre author, illustrator and graphic designer who spent over three decades working as a marketing executive.
She resides with her stand-up comedian ex-husband in Cuenca, Ecuador. According to the release, Hamilton likes to say, “I live in Cuenca, but I live online.”

SSWW is holding its December meeting earlier due to the holidays, which is usually scheduled for the last Wednesday of the month. Starting January 2023, the group will meet at Panera Bread on Scottsdale Road, the release noted.
Attendees should arrive virtually at least 10 minutes prior to avoid delays.
As usual, non-member guests are welcome to attend but are required to RSVP with Patricia Brooks, SSWW president. She can be reached at patricia@plbrooks.com or 480-250-5556 for the Zoom meeting ID and password.
