Scottsdale renews contract with city lobbyist
Posted
The city of Scottsdale has re-upped its contract with the firm that provides it with lobbying at the Arizona Legislature.
The city renewed a contract with Phoenix-based The Aarons Co. LLC for $54,000 to provide services through the end of 2023.
It is an update of a contract Scottsdale first approved at the end of 2020. The Aarons Co. has provided those lobbying services for the past two years.
Scottsdale has been busy, along with other municipalities, at working with the state legislature on a variety of topics, including changes to short-term rental laws among others.
