A north Scottsdale intersection is closed following an early-morning three-vehicle traffic collision with one fatality, officials say.
At 5:22 a.m. May 18, Scottsdale Police posted a traffic alert to its Twitter account advising of the road closure at 64th Street and Cactus Road.
Police say factors causing the collision are unknown at this time, and the road will be closed for an unknown duration during investigation.
“64th St and Cactus Rd CLOSED in all directions for 3 vehicle traffic collision with 1 fatality. Unknown on factors at this time. Please be patient and find alt route as road will be closed for unknown duration for investigation,” the May 18 Tweet reads.
