To celebrate the Scottsdale 92nd St. and Shea McDonald’s grand re-opening, the restaurant donated 10 percent of all self-order kiosk sales for the first 15 days in October to Cochise Elementary School.

McDonald’s supervisor Kathy Thomas recently presented a $862.85 check to Cochise Elementary principal Sheila Miller, according to a press release.

The remodeled restaurant at 9251 E. Shea Blvd. combines technology upgrades with enhanced convenience offering guests app-based mobile ordering and new parking spots for curbside pickup.

Features include digital self-order kiosks and Bluetooth table locators for dine-in table service, indoor and outdoor digital menu boards and free Wi-fi at the restaurant that has a new “comfortable modern” decor and design.

Families can enjoy a new music-themed interactive play area for children, featuring the Muscial PlayPlace that has a wall mount piano and touch/sound elements, the release said.
