Scottsdale detectives seize drugs, guns, cash

Two separate traffic stops last week by Scottsdale Police Department detectives led to the seizure of 31 pounds of methamphetamine and other drugs, police announced Wednesday.
According to authorities, several months ago the Scottsdale Drug Enforcement Administration task force received a tip about a suspected meth and fentanyl drug trafficker, and an investigation began.
On June 17, detectives conducted two separate traffic stops and arrested both drivers, police said.
A search warrant was drafted for a Valley home, and the investigation seizure included:
31 pounds of methamphetamine
4 kilos of cocaine
1.3 pounds of fentanyl pills
Four guns
$10,000
No further details were released on the Scottsdale Police Department website.
