The Scottsdale Rising Young Professionals will participate in Volunteer Day at the YMCA on Wednesday, June 22, offering an opportunity for those ages 23-39 to contribute to the community.
SRYP is a sub-group of the Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce, and SRYP Volunteer Day at the YMCA is open to any young professional ages 23-39 “who would like to have an opportunity to get involved with the community and connect with additional young professionals in the area,” according to the chamber.
The Young Professionals group strives to:
- Educate, through speaker and exclusive behind-the-scenes events.
- Elevate, offering mentorship opportunities.
- Collaborate, with community and volunteer engagement.
Two time slots are available for volunteers: 9 a.m. until noon and 1-4 p.m.
SRYP members and guests: $15 to be donated to the Scottsdale/PV YMCA

In addition to the YMCA volunteer day, SRYP has other events planned, including a speaker panel in September, a scavenger hunt through Old Town Scottsdale ending in a mix and mingle in October and an evening at the Canal Convergence in November, partnering with Scottsdale Leadership and Scottsdale Arts to offer mentorship connections, according to the chamber.
