Hypur, a payments, banking, and compliance solution technology for cash-intensive industries, recently promoted two employees to the director level in October.
“It is always validating to see members of the Hypur team grow into new roles,” said Hypur COO Michael J. Sinnwell, Jr. in a prepared statement. “Hypur has experienced tremendous growth in recent months. I am confident that Mark and Robert will continue to help the company move forward in strategic and successful ways.”
Mark Betz has been promoted to Director of Cloud and IT Operations. He joined Hypur in 2018 as senior systems and network engineer. Mr. Betz’s extensive Microsoft Azure skillset and strategic approach to problem-solving will continue to ensure the security, stability, and integrity of Hypur’s IT infrastructure.
Robert Copeland is now director of underwriting at Hypur. With a diverse set of professional skills developed across several industries from finance and insurance to hospitality, Mr. Copeland started at Hypur back in 2015.
“Hypur’s corporate culture includes retaining the most talented people and letting their skills shine,” said Mr. Sinnwell. “We have been impressed by the combination of knowledge, strategy, and leadership that Robert and Mark bring to the Hypur team as we grow in this unique industry.”
