With COVID-19 cases spiking and the holidays imminent, a Scottsdale-based real estate company has partnered with local testing provider ‘COVID Testing To You’ to offer drive-thru tests.
YAM Properties will begin offering COVID-19 testing at its Scottsdale 101 shopping center beginning Tuesday, Nov. 24. It will be open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., except for Thanksgiving day, when testing will be closed.
Most insurance will be accepted at the venue, and multiple testing types will be available, according to a press release.
Both parties hope to expand the testing footprint, potentially testing at several other YAM Properties locations in the future. Site fees for the testing are being covered by YAM Properties as a service to the community, the press release stated.
“As the state experiences an increase in COVID-19 cases, being able to take a test and receive the results in a timely manner will help fight the spread, keep the community healthy, and keep businesses open,” said Dan Dahl, YAM Properties director of real estate. “YAM Properties is devoting a significant amount of space to allow for these testing events and is proud to support the community during these trying times.”
Scottsdale-based “COVID Testing To You” provides FDA certified on-site testing and has been offering employer-funded testing around the Valley since July.
The company offers Rapid Antigen testing for live virus with results in two-three hours, and PCR virus testing with results in 24 hours or less. In addition, it offers broad-spectrum, full-respiratory panel testing, after physician evaluation, to test for all known respiratory issues, including COVID-19, with results in 48 hours.
Rapid Antibody (IgM and IgG) tests with two-three hour results will also be available.
If covered by insurance, the test will cost just $50 for the sample collection. If uninsured, the pricing is as follows:
Payment will be accepted only by credit card to reduce contact, the press release stated.
“COVID Testing To You” works with Premier Lab Solutions to enable the robust and rapid testing options. It plans to build on its successful track record of mobile, employer-based testing Valley-wide through the partnership with YAM Properties.
The company’s medical director, Dr. Reyes Topete MD, has worked in the medical field in Arizona for more than 35 years.
“Being proactive with testing is a critical tool in the fight against COVID-19. In addition to social distancing, mask-wearing and hand-washing, we can help protect our loved ones during this holiday season,” said Dr. Topete.
Testing appointments are available for request now via the company’s website, covidtestingtoyou.com.
