The Raising Cane’s Day of Giving for Phoenix Children’s Hospital on Nov. 13 resulted in all 16 Valley restaurants donating 15% of its proceeds to the hospital and raising more than $27,000.
Money from Raising Cane’s Day of Giving will go toward the hospital’s Animal-Assisted Therapy program, according to a press release on the charitable event that helps the hospital offer the “very best” in care, medical specialists, technology and behavioral health services to families unable to pay.
“We are incredibly grateful to Raising Cane’s for their support in raising funds for our patients so that they can have the best quality care possible,” said Steve Schnall, Phoenix Children’s Hospital’s senior vice president and chief development officer, in a prepared statement.
“Their ability to rally the Phoenix community and employees behind our hospital is why we appreciate this partnership.”
For 35 years, Phoenix Children’s Hospital has provided “world-class inpatient, outpatient, trauma, emergency and urgent care to children and families in Arizona and throughout the southwest,” according to the release.
“We are avid supporters of Phoenix Children’s Hospital because we wholeheartedly believe in the care and healing that they give to their patients,” said Brittany Maroney, Raising Cane’s area leader of marketing, in a prepared statement.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled with the opportunity to give generously to this important local organization. May every child and their family find the hope they are looking for within the halls of Phoenix Children’s Hospital.”
