Pups, people to attend brunch benefiting PCH animal assisted therapy program
Posted
Independent Newsmedia
You and your pup can wear “brunch chic” to dress for the annual Dine With Your Dog while enjoying treats for human and puppy palates.
Alta Vista Veterinary Hospital is sponsoring the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Dine With Your Dog event to be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb.8, Monterra at WestWorld of Scottsdale, 816601 N. Pima Road.
Event chairs, Lee Courtney and Kimberly Jacobsen, invite attendees to the annual event that combines a brunch for people and artisan canine cuisine, according to a press release.
The brunch includes a Tito’s Handmade Vodka Bloody Mary bar and soothing Mimosas, the release said.
Proceeds benefit PetSmart Charities’ Paws Can Heal Animal-Assisted Therapy program as the certified animals deliver therapeutic visits that motivate movement, build muscle and lift spirits for patients at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
Guests can have creative photos posing with their pooches, explore pet play areas, chat with fellow dog people, bid at the silent auction and enter the lucky leash raffle, the release noted.
The cost is $150 per canine and their well-behaved person; $1,200 for reserved table for eight; $2,000 VIP table for eight near the stage and special swag bags.
