The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa in Scottsdale is welcoming a few special guests for spooky activities on Oct. 12.
According to a press release, renowned pumpkin artist Ray Villafane and a team of Food Network carving champions are hosting two pumpkin carving classes at the hotel on Oct. 12.
The classes are open to all ages and will teach guests how Villafane hand-crafts his pumpkin art. One session is set for 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. with the other being 4-6 p.m., with tickets starting at $60.
The afternoon session will also feature a pumpkin carving competition, with teams challenged to create Halloween-themed table displays with a selection of different materials and props to use for decoration. Prizes will be awarded to the winning group, with Villafane and his team serving as judges.
