Scottsdale-based Prestige Cleaners is hosting a clothing drive to give back to the homeless population in the local community.

Through December 21, all Prestige Cleaners locations, which are all in Scottsdale, will be accepting new or gently used clothing for donation. The company will make donations to St. Vincent de Paul in Phoenix.

Since 1964, Prestige Cleaners has been dedicated to a legacy of service, citizenship and community, according to a press release.

“We are excited to do our part and help those less fortunate in the community partnering with St. Vincent De Paul,” Denise Testori, president and CEO of Prestige Cleaners, said in a prepared statement.

According to the St. Vincent de Paul, more than 28,000 individuals do not have a place to call home in the Phoenix metro area and 37% of that statistic are families.

St. Vincent De Paul is a known as a society of making the homeless hopeful and these articles of clothing are here to ensure warmth and safety during the holiday season, a release claims.

Donation drops off will be available at each location. Anything from hats, sweaters or jeans will be accepted as long as they are in good condition.
