Plexus Worldwide, a Scottsdale-based health and wellness company, hosted the 7th Annual Pima Center Walk for Phoenix Children’s Center for Heart Care, bringing together more than 600 participants from across the community and raising over $136,500 to for the Phoenix Children’s Center for Heart Care.
Calvin Hughes, 13, shared his experience being diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy - an enlarged heart - after finding himself unusually tired while playing basketball. He received a transplant at Phoenix Children’s, and credited his recovery to the heart center.
