Plexus Worldwide, a Scottsdale-based health and wellness company, hosted the 7th Annual Pima Center Walk for Phoenix Children’s, bringing together more than 600 participants from across the community and raising over $136,500 to for the Phoenix Children’s Center for Heart Care.
Calvin Hughes, 13, shared his experience being diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy - an enlarged heart - after finding himself unusually tired while playing basketball. He received a transplant at Phoenix Children’s, and credited his recovery to the heart center.
