Petrie Sue: Suzanne Klapp is my choice for mayor

Posted

Scottsdale is most fortunate to have a choice in this mayoral election of a woman, Suzanne Klapp, who has demonstrated her capabilities and her leadership to bring people together for the good of the city.

She has dedicated 12 years to public service as a councilwoman, and I know I can depend on her to take the job of mayor seriously and to be a positive force in Scottsdale.

Suzanne and I have worked together in many ways over the last 20 years.

Throughout that time I could always depend on her to do what is right.

She is a strategic thinker and an excellent problem solver. Her willingness to volunteer in organizations that promote education on important issues, and she always encourages understanding of how the city operates.

We have hosted her in my neighborhood to discuss the Block Watch Program and a variety of public safety programs. She has been involved with the Scottsdale Police Department to understand and communicate to the community about the real sex trafficking problems we face in the state of Arizona and even in the City of Scottsdale.

Suzanne always votes to keep our taxes low and to conservatively manage the city’s budget, and her support for the businesses community, job creation, economic development, and property rights is unmatched by anyone else running for the city’s top job.

For these and many more reasons, I will be voting for Suzanne Klapp for mayor and urge others to do the same.
