‘One Minute Millionaires’ drive-in concert May 22 in Apache Junction

The May 22 Drive-in Concert will be bringing “One Minute Millionaires” to the event stage at the Apache Junction Rodeo Grounds Event Center, 1590 E. Lost Dutchman Blvd.

“Come out and enjoy a nice evening outside listening to some great music,” according to a release. “The concert is brought to you for free by the city of Apache Junction Parks and Recreation and Sonlite Productions. Pre-registration for this event is suggested.”

The concert 7-8:30 p.m. Saturday will largely be classic rock & roll and desert rock. Gary’s Desert Dogs will be on hand selling grub for those looking for some dinner to go along with their tunes.

There will be limited number of spaces the day of the event depending on available spaces. Social-distancing guidelines will be in place for the show.

“You will be asked to park to the front left of your space and you can exit your car if you prefer and view the concert from the right of your vehicle. Patrons will have access to the restroom facilities,” the release states.

Apache Junction Parks and Recreation will host the event. In the event of bad weather or high winds prior to the show, the program could possibly be canceled or moved to a future date.
