New car wash in San Tan Valley opens with a ‘Quack’

Posted

San Tan Valley has a new business that has something to quack about.

A Quick Quack Car Wash opened off Ocotillo Road and Ironwood Drive next to the Safeway Plaza on Tuesday May 11

At the grand opening, Quick Quack Car Wash had a food truck and petting zoo on hand. In addition, the car wash offered free car washes for 12 days May 12-23.

Quick Quack Car Wash was quick to make itself part of the community. At the opening-day ceremonies, the car wash donated $3,000 to a family whose house had burned down.

According to its website, the company and concept that would become Quick Quack Car Wash started in 2004 when company founder and current president and CEO Jason Johnson, gathered a team of founding partners intent on delivering on its mission to be “Fast. Clean. Loved … Everywhere.”

Originally named Splash & Dash Car Wash, the chain began in Sacramento and grew to six locations within three years.

In 2008, the company doubled in size by acquiring a chain of car washes in northwest Texas named Quick Quack Car Wash.

Soon after the acquisition, the company adopted the Quick Quack name across all 13 locations. Inc. Magazine and the Sacramento Business Journal  recognized Quick Quack as one of the fastest growing companies in the U.S.

Headquartered in Roseville, California, Quick Quack Car Wash now owns and operates more than 100 locations in Utah, Texas, California, Arizona, and Colorado. Planned expansions into additional regions and states are expected in the near future.

Partner Travis Kimball  was on hand for the grand opening in San Tan Valley.
