Scottsdale Airport, 15000 N. Airport Drive, is kicking off the holiday season with a free showing of “Elf” Nov. 23. Gates open at 5 p.m. but the show starts at 6 p.m.
Parking is also free across from the main aviation building.
Guests are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs (seating won’t be provided) and keep an eye out for Santa, who just might make an appearance. Beyond the movie, there will be food trucks and beer and wine available for purchase, a static plane display, and a fire truck presentation. Just a reminder - pets, outside food, and beverages won’t be permitted.
