From 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, Arizona women will learn “how to go from Vision 2 Victory” from Ms. Nichols and other guest speakers,  according to a press release.

The special interactive event will be held at the J.W. Marriott Camelback Golf Resort, Lakeview Terrace Ballroom, 7847 N. Mockingbird Lane in Scottsdale, the release said.

The event will include presentations by Ms. Nichols, who has been featured on TV shows including Oprah, The Steve Harvey Show and The Today Show; Erby-Castle and more.

Demetrius Thigpen, Lacinda Bloomfield, Premadonna Braddick and Erica Renee Moore will round out the list of local and nationally-known inspirational presenters, the release stated.

The event will also include music, vendors, prizes and an After Glow reception with photo ops for VIP ticket holders from 4 to 6 p.m.

A portion of event proceeds will provide collegiate scholarships to young women in need through the Carrie J. Gray Scholarship Program, the release noted.

Since 2013, PWEN has provided more than $57,000 in funding to provide support to underserved women in the community.  The  nonprofit, based in Phoenix, was founded by Sharise L. Erby-Castle.

“Vision 2 Victory not only brings superstar Lisa Nichols to Arizona – we have other amazing speakers to empower, equip, encourage and elevate attendees to execute the steps needed to achieve what they want in 2020,” said Ms. Erby-Castle in a prepared statement.

The author of “Whole Women Win,” she has benefited the lives of many women and men for more than 30 years through her work in the community, according to the release.

Ms. Erby-Castle was recently recognized as the Ready Set Go Foundations’ 2019 Business Woman of the Year and was even selected as the “Woman Rising Up” by Women on a Mission.

The recipient of the 2016 Black Wall Street’s Community Leadership Award, Ms. Erby-Castle has been featured on TV and radio appearances in Arizona, California and Oklahoma, according to the relase.

“The speakers were excellent, the energy was electric. It was unlike anything I’ve experienced,” said Naomi Jones, of Phoenix, who attended the 2019 affair.

The Phenomenal Woman Empowerment Network is a 501C3 organization founded to mentor, coach and educate women by helping them achieve success in a supportive, empowering, environment.

There are chapters in Phoenix and in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the release added.

“My mission is to strengthen the economic status and leadership of women and men as they take their success to the next level. I believe in speaking to the heart, and, through my personal experiences, allow others to transform their pain, failures, and disappointments into enduring power,” said Ms. Erby-Castle.
