ARIZONA LOTTERY
Lottery ticket sold in Scottsdale delivers big with added cash
Unclaimed prize from ticket sold in Mesa boosts jackpot

INDEPENDENT NEWSMEDIA
A winning Arizona lottery ticket purchased in Scottsdale is worth $6.9 million thanks to an unclaimed prize.
After a $4.3 million The Pick jackpot, which was sold at a store in Mesa, went unclaimed by an Oct. 24 deadline, the money was put back in the lottery pool.
On Monday, Nov. 21, a winning The Pick ticket was sold at the Frys store, 7928A E. Indian School Road, Scottsdale, lottery officials said.
“We are excited to give the players another chance at cashing in big,” said Gregg Edgar, Arizona Lottery executive director.
“While we never like to see a ticket go unclaimed, this is a great way for us to return that win on Arizona’s game back to The Pick players.”
