Lone Mountain Elementary School students present ‘American Symbols on Parade’

Posted

Cave Creek Unified School District has partnered with Foothills Caring Corps to connect community members with the school, even if they lack transportation.

On May 12, Lone Mountain Elementary School second graders performed American Symbols on Parade through song and dialogue in a patriotic performance, according to a press release.

“We are making a concerted effort to bring community members into our schools. We want our students to understand their role in making Cave Creek a great place to live,” Cave Creek Unified School District Superintendent Dr. Cort Monroe said in the release.

The district encourages a continuing partnership and filling schools with community members, according to the release.
