Local churches assist Foothills Food Bank & Resource Center

In addition to “support and love for the human spirit,” many Arizona churches provide monthly food donations to food banks like Foothills Food Bank & Resource Center in Cave Creek.

Foothills Food Bank & Resource Center receives food donations from local churches, including Desert Hills Presbyterian Church, Good Shepherd of the Hills Episcopal Church, Our Lady of Joy Catholic Church and Ecclesia Church, on a regular, monthly basis.

The Foothills Food Bank & Resource Center  at 6038 E. Hidden Valley Drive in Cave Creek and 34501 Old Black Canyon Highway in Black Canyon City receives monthly cash and food donations from local churches to help more people, according to a press release.

 “The amazing donations from our churches help serve more of the public in need,” said Pam DiPietro, executive director, in a prepared statement DiPietro.

Foothills Food Bank and Resource Center provides emergency food, financial assistance and other life necessities and resources to individuals and families in the desert foothills, which encompasses a 180-square mile area that includes Black Canyon City, Cave Creek, Carefree, Anthem, Desert Hills, New River, north Scottsdale and north Phoenix.
