The Herbergers bring an incredible amount of awareness, generosity, and passion to our event, and we are unbelievably blessed that they have chosen to serve as our honorary chairs again this year.”

Kids in Focus has announced Billie Jo and Judd Herberger returning as honorary chairs for the Third Annual Noche para los Niños — Night for the Children — event.
Scheduled for Nov. 4, this event will raise funds to support resilience-building photography mentoring programs that empower at-risk kids to, according to a press release, “see life through a new lens.”
The Herbergers, well-known for their philanthropic generosity and dedication to the arts, served as honorary chairs at the last Noche para los Niños event in 2019.
“This program has an incredibly positive impact on the lives of some of the most underserved children in our community,” said Billie Jo Herberger in the release.
“We joyfully signed on once again as honorary chairs, and we’re excited to help raise awareness and funds for this organization that so effectively shares the uplifting power of the arts with kids who so desperately need this bright light in their lives.”
“Having the support of Billie Jo and Judd Herberger, two of Arizona’s most beloved philanthropists, has truly elevated our presence in the community,” said Kids in Focus Executive Director Karen Shell in the release.
“The Herbergers bring an incredible amount of awareness, generosity, and passion to our event, and we are unbelievably blessed that they have chosen to serve as our honorary chairs again this year. With this duo on board, the sky’s the limit!”
The Noche para los Niños event is described as a Día de los Muertos — Day of the Dead — inspired celebration for adults to benefit Kids in Focus, the release said.
The evening will feature performers including contortionists, jugglers, tarot card readers, a mentalist; and other things including a hosted bar, food stations from Valley restaurants, a silent auction, raffle, and a display of photos created by Kids in Focus program participants.
Stephanie Nowack, former CEO of the Tempe Tourism Office, is serving as the Noche para los Niños event chair. Pat Bondurant is leading the host committee, focused on ticket and table sales, added the release.
