Fountain Hills Theater is bringing its production of the musical, Disenchanted!, to the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, Aug. 25-28.
Poisoned apples. Glass slippers. Who needs ’em?! Not Snow White and her posse of disenchanted princesses in the hilarious hit musical that is anything but Grimm. Forget the princesses you think you know. When these royal renegades toss off their tiaras, this hilariously subversive, not-for-the-kiddies musical reveals what really happened “ever after.”
Disenchanted! is produced by Leah Klein and directed by Peter J. Hill, according to a press release. The show is musically directed by Robin Peterson and choreographed by Noel Irick. Disenchanted! stars Kori Stearns. Karissa Self-Anderson, Elizabeth Bridgewater, Anna Sell, Jackie Horn, Allyson Igielski, Leah Klein and Cheryl Banks.
Disenchanted! is presented through special arrangement with Broadway Licensing. Recommended for ages 14+ due to adult themes and language.
Disenchanted! will play Aug. 25-18. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Thursday, 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. Individual tickets are $33- $37.
