The Fountain Hills Youth Theater performers are showcasing Guys And Dolls, Jr. through Sunday, March 1.

The musical comedy will be performed at 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Fountain Hills Theater on its Youth Stage, 11445 N. Saguaro Blvd., which is on the corner of Saguaro and Rand.

Guys and Dolls, Jr. is based on a story and characters created by Damon Runyon and set in New York City, following a gambler, Nathan Detroit, as he tries to find the cash to establish the biggest crap game in town while the authorities breathe down his neck, according to a press release.

Meanwhile, his girlfriend and nightclub performer, Adelaide, laments about their 14-year engagement without marriage, the release detailed, noting that Nathan turns to fellow gambler, Sky Masterson as events occur from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana.

The Guys and Dolls Jr. tickets are $18 and are available through the Theater Box Office at 480-837-9661 ext. 3; and fhtaz.org Box Office Hours are from noon to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

“Guys and Dolls, Jr.” is presented through special arrangement with Musical Theater International; all authorized performance materials are provided by MTI of New York, New York.
