Executive Council 70 announces 52nd Annual The Original Taste food and wine event in Scottsdale

The local nonprofit Executive Council 70 is holding its 52nd annual The Original Taste, a formal food and wine event benefiting over 100 children’s charities on Saturday, April 12 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Scottsdale Civic Center, 3939 N. Drinkwater Blvd. The occasion will host some of the Valley’s top restaurants’ food, wine and cocktails for an elevated tasting experience with live entertainment.

The Original Taste will feature over 20 restaurants like Pyro, STK, Kasai Japanese Steakhouse, Maggiano’s Little Italy and more that will give out samples for guests to indulge in. Live entertainment includes performances from DJ Silver and a surprise country music act.

The event’s earnings will benefit charities throughout Arizona, including qualifying charities, qualifying foster care charities and 501 (c) (3) nonprofits.

General admission tickets are $175 per person. EC70 is also offering a VIP admission ticket priced at $275 that allows access to a VIP lounge with premium views of the stage and preferential bar access. VIP tickets will also grant access to The Original Taste’s Afterparty starting at 11 p.m. on site. General admission guests will have a chance to purchase an after-party ticket at the event. Guests who purchase two or more VIP tickets will get $25 off per ticket. This event is for ages 21 and older.
