Tom Darlington Road.
The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are welcome to stay afterwards and meet the musicians.
The recital will feature DHCSM’s faculty members and popular performing musicians from across the Valley, including Vitaly Serebriakov (piano), Svetlana Obregon Saenz (piano), Gregory Hamilton (cello and double bass), Christina Reedis (flute) and Jeffrey Anthony (saxophone).
The lineup also includes Andre Womack, former director of bands for Cave Creek Unified School District, local guitarist Shane Vance and other members of the DHCSM faculty.
In addition, the Desert Hills Community School of Music has opened registration for its fall Saxophone Ensemble, which will launch Sunday, Oct. 8. Open to saxophonists of all ages and ability levels, the Ensemble will meet for rehearsals each Sunday leading up to a concert performance on October 29.
The concert will be open to the general public; all rehearsals and the final concert will take place on the campus of Desert Hills Presbyterian Church.
