A new custom-built Scottsdale mansion with a $9.4 million price tag is under construction.

Set to be completed next spring, the home is in the Pima Acres Estates community at 9245 E. Rimrock Drive. It will be represented by Rashied Arekat with Z Luxury Group at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Arizona Properties, according to a press release.

“The estate’s entertainment features, open floorplan and innovative design make it the pinnacle of luxury living,” said Arekat. “From its outdoor amenities that are typically only seen in resorts to its sleek interior design and state-of-the-art appliances, every element of the home has been planned to reflect the modern needs and wants of today’s residents.”

Destined for entertaining, the resort-style backyard will include a centerpiece pool and spa, featuring a swim-up bar and an elevated second-story deck with a custom firepit and lounge area overlooking the surrounding McDowell Mountains. Guests will also enjoy a detached pool house, a full-sized sports court, an outdoor gazebo, several lounging areas and fire features, two elongated dog runs and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen.

Spanning across almost two acres of land, the interior will encompass a temperature controlled eight-car garage, a game room, an oversized wet bar, an open-concept morning room and more.

“The home’s design has been meticulously curated to set the standard for a new-age of contemporary builds,” said Arekat.

Developed and built by Rashied Arekat of Z Luxury Group, who is representing the home, with construction completed by Worth Development, the estate is a collaborative creation of local award-winning architects and designers from Illini Design Group, JWoods Design, and CfDesign.

Once completed, the expansive layout will showcase five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, an attached casita, a work-from-home space and floor-to-ceiling glass doors throughout to blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living.
