Independent Newsmedia
The Creative Center of Scottsdale, 3616 N. Scottsdale Road, which is a co-working space for artists, is hosting its Second Annual Pop-Up Art Fair.
To celebrate its fourth anniversary, the free event, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Saturday, Feb. 22 will feature the work of local artists and the center’s current tenants.
The center, which opened in February of 2016, has been home to creatives of all genres including painters, photographers and clothing designers, according to a press release.
“We’re excited to open our doors to the public, who will get to experience the incredible art of our tenants and community members,” said center owner Michelle Biely in a prepared statement.
“The fair is a celebration of the amazing work these artists create.”
The Creative Center of Scottsdale and local artists include:
Freddie Lieberman, mixed medium painter
Ken Sklute, a nature photographer
Doria Dphrepaulezz, painter & poet
Alynn Parde, photographer
Paige Stone, oil painter
Freed, illustrator
Saad Haddad, painter
The Creative Center of Scottsdale Pop-up Art Fair offers the public a chance to view and purchase local artwork from participating artists, according to the release.
If selected, the fee to participate is $25. Artists will have a 10-by-10-foot space on the center’s outdoor patio to display their work, noted the release.
