Colleen’s Dream: Luau event raises $50K for ovarian cancer research

Posted

In an effort to support ovarian cancer research, Colleen’s Dream Foundation hosted their event, Luau for the Dream, in October ultimately donating $50,000 to TGen, a nonprofit genomics research institute based in Arizona.

The event was held at Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale, featuring leis, fire and hula dancers and a pig roast.

Colleen’s Dream Foundation is Arizona’s largest private ovarian cancer-specific nonprofit, according to a press release.
