Cold Beers & Pizza restaurant to open in Scottsdale

The team responsible for Arizona’s Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers, Neighborhood Burger Joint, announces that Cold Beers & Pizza will debut in Old Town Scottsdale in December.

The 3,300-square-foot space at 4222 N. Scottsdale Rd., sits on the city’s main thoroughfare and next door to its popular sister brand, Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers, according to a press release, noting the anticipated “lively patio.”

“It’s a challenging time for all of us in the restaurant industry. But the way we see it, we’ve got to keep living and doing things for the future. This seemed like a natural next step. We now know how to cope with the ‘new normal,’ so we feel confident that we can open a new concept and continue the very best health practices per CDC and Arizona guidelines, for our customers and our staff,” said Square One Concepts Founder/CEO, S. Barrett Rinzler in a prepared statement.

“In fact, our team is very excited to launch Cold Beers & Pizza, and dovetail, you might say, off our popular Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers brand. We’re working hard to be sure everyone can enjoy this new branch of our restaurant family. We’ve created delicious, straightforward pizza options and a menu we know everyone can enjoy.”

The menu includes more than 50 beers in bottles and cans with no less than 20 beers on tap. The pizza styles are described as a “Midwest Thin Crust” and a hand-tossed “Neapolitan Style.” In addition to various pizza options, including build your own pizza, pasta dishes will be on the menu from a traditional spaghetti and meatballs to Fettuccini Alfredo and more.

Appetizers such as fried brussels sprouts, meatballs, caprese skewers, and salads along with sandwiches like meatball or italian hoagies, and chicken parm will also grace the menu that will even have desserts from cannolis to a skillet cookie.

Cold Beers & Pizza will have walk-up style ordering with waitstaff serving beverages as guests dine, the release said, detailing the relaxed, casual atmosphere resembling its sister eateries established by the family owned and operated business.

The restaurant will be open seven days a week, noted the release.
