COGS endorses candidates for mayor, City Council

Posted

Coalition of Greater Scottsdale recently announced its endorsements of Bob Littlefield for Scottsdale mayor a Betty Janik, Guy Phillips and Tom Durham for Scottsdale City Council.

COGS asked each of the 14 candidates to complete a detailed questionnaire covering topics of interest to Scottsdale residents, according to a press release. All returned candidate questionnaires are available on COGS’s website at www.cogsaz.net

A survey of COGS members was conducted to provide guidance to the COGS Board’s deliberations. COGS also evaluated candidates’ previous involvement in Scottsdale interests and their actions while serving on the City Council, city committees, task forces and commissions.

Because of this process, the COGS Board says it is confident these endorsed candidates support the COGS mission and values, and will represent Scottsdale citizens in protecting our neighborhoods and Scottsdale’s special character, high quality of life and economic vitality.
