Code Ninjas teaching youth coding and cybersecurity at new Paradise Valley location

Posted

A learning center hopes to use video games and coding to entice the youth into learning cybersecurity with a new location.

Code Ninjas Paradise Valley, opening on May 20, aims to teach children computer coding and problem-solving while they build video games. Open to children ages 5-14, the new location lets children learn to code in a safe and social environment that celebrates video games and STEM, according to the press release.

According to the press release, the program is structured like a martial arts dojo with nine belts of progression. Kids self-pace the program advancing from white to black belt, with support from Code Senseis and fellow students as they learn to code for their game. Once a child finishes the program, they will publish an app in an app store.

Code Ninjas Paradise Valley is located at 3923 E. Thunderbird Rd. in Phoenix. For more information, visit codeninjas.com/az-paradise-valley-village.
