Students at Camelback Desert School in Scottsdale recently held a donation drive for Child Crisis Arizona, which is an organization that helps vulnerable children and families in the community.

Fourth through eighth graders organized the drive, according to a press release, noting that the students collected the organization’s most needed items, including diapers, food, school supplies, sanitary items, books and more.

Through this initiative, students learned the importance of spreading kindness and helping others in their community, the release said.

Part of Spring Education Group, a multi-school network providing superior private school education from infant care through kindergarten, Camelback Desert School is said to offer a well-rounded curriculum with caring and skilled teachers, plus a commitment to parent communication.
