Brown: John Little is the right leader for Scottsdale

John Little is the right leader for right now.

Governing requires understanding the responsibilities of all city departments involved. John Little has that understanding.

He knows the inner workings of Scottsdale and also knows its history. This will be extremely important when we work to recover from the damage done to our economy by COVID-19. John also has the ability to bring parties together.

We will need a lot of collaboration and civil conversation in order to retain Scottsdale’s reputation as a great place to do business.

Conversations concerning a diverse economy and the importance of our public schools will require all parties at the table. I feel confident John Little will help facilitate those gatherings.

Please join me in voting for John Little for Scottsdale City Council.

Editor’s Note: Denny Brown is a longtime Scottsdale resident, vice-chair of Scottsdale Human Services Commission and a community advocate.
