Borenstein: A new Chompie’s era begins amid Paradise Valley mall closure

Posted

Dear Chompie’s Paradise Valley customers and friends,

We are at the end of an era! Along with the closing of Paradise Valley Mall, our Phoenix location within the mall will be closing its doors at the end of business on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31.

This location has served us well for so many years and allowed us to become part of our diners celebrations and everyday occasions. For that we are so grateful. And while it’s always sad to say goodbye… this parting is just temporary!

As many Chompie’s fans know, this neighborhood is near and dear to the Borenstein family, as our very first location took flight in the area more than 40 years ago. And so we are pleased that while the Paradise Valley Mall location will be closing, our newest neighborhood location will be just a mile and a half west of the mall — at 3212 E. Cactus Road.

Currently underway, this new location will deliver an even bigger and better Chompie’s experience for the neighborhood for decades, and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been busy planning for the future of Chompie’s.

As we look back on the memories, we are so grateful for the unwavering support and loyalty we’ve always received from this community, and we look forward to serving you again when we open our new location later this summer. Feel free to check our website at www.chompies.com for official opening day and exciting grand opening celebration events.

And to get your Chompie’s fix in the meanwhile, head over to our not-so-far-away Scottsdale location at 9301 E. Shea Boulevard.

On behalf of the entire Borenstein family, we thank you and we’ll see you soon!
