Top wiffle ball talent from across the nation will take the field at Scottsdale Stadium this fall for the sixth annual installment of Big League Wiffle Ball’s Western Wiffle Ball Classic.
Taking place at the springtime home of the San Francisco Giants, this year’s event will have some of the fastest wiffle ball pitchers in the nation as they compete for the Western Wiffle Ball Classic trophy – and bragging rights, according to a press release.
The event is set for 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18 at Scottsdale Stadium, 7408 E Osborn Road.
The league was founded in 2020 by then 16-year-old Logan Rose as a way to encourage outdoor and physical activity during the pandemic.
The league has since grown substantially in size and continues to draw both top wiffle ball players from across the United States and enthusiastic crowds to cheer them on.
Last year, Big League Wiffle Ball’s Final Four took place under the dome at AT&T Stadium (the home of the Dallas Cowboys), showcasing just how far the league has come.
