Jenn McKinlay – TEDx speaker and bestselling author of several mystery and romance series – speaks to groups all over the country and will be the  featured  guest speaker at the monthly Scottsdale Society of Women Writers meeting.

The Zoom speaker meeting begins at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28, with sign in about 10-15 minutes prior to start, according to a press release.

Noted as a favorite amongst book clubs, writers’ groups, libraries, and schools from elementary through university level, Ms. McKinlay enjoys sharing with those who also love books, storytelling and lifetime learning as much as she loves connecting to readers, writers and others.

An RT Reviewer’s Choice Award winner for romantic comedy and Fresh Fiction award winner for best cozy mystery, her work has been translated into multiple languages in countries worldwide, the release said.

In addition to being a TEDx speaker, discussing books, writing, reading and the creative process, she is described as enjoying her life in Arizona in a house “overrun with kids, pets, and her husband’s guitars.”

The SSWW gives members access to events, a format for exchanging ideas, networking opportunities with other women writers and authors, an alliance with professionals in book writing, publishing, and marketing along with camaraderie and support.
