The Arizona Educational Foundation has given an A+ recognition to 53 public schools in the state.

The Arizona Educational Foundation has give its A+ awards to 53 public schools in the state this year, with three coming from sites within Scottsdale Unified School District.
The A+ School of Excellence program was developed 42 years ago to identify Arizona public schools being recommended for the U.S. Department of Education’s National Blue Ribbon Award.
Qualities in the judging include having leadership that inspires collaboration and professional development, high-quality teachers and staff, and rigorous standards-aligned curriculum.
This recognition is made annually and schools can carry the designation for five years after recognition. The schools receiving the award for 2025-29 are listed alphabetically below, with SUSD schools in bold:
