To honor its veterans on Veterans Day, Amber Creek Inn, a Koelsch community, is hosting a pinning ceremony and recognition service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11.

Amber Creek Inn to honor veterans in Scottsdale with pinning ceremony

To honor its veterans on Veterans Day, Amber Creek Inn, a Koelsch community, is hosting a pinning ceremony and recognition service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11.
The event at Amber Creek Inn, 11250 N. 92nd St., Scottsdale, will start with the playing of God Bless America, the Pledge of Allegiance, and Star Spangled Banner followed by a prayer, according to a press release. Afterward, veterans will receive a pin thanking them for their service.
The 2021 Veterans to be honored include:
Fred Geiser: Navy
Joseph Ando: Air Force
Frank Mitchell: Army
William Brooks: Navy
Richard Kemler: Army
George Valdez Jr: Army & Air Force
Residents and team members also will enjoy the playing of each U.S. military song and a moment of silence will be held to honor the heroes, the release said.
