$21 million Scottsdale home records Arizona’s second highest residential sale

Posted

Luxury real estate firm Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty, has announced the close of a record-breaking $21 million Scottsdale home.

The Silverleaf estate, originally listed for $27.5 million, sold for $21 million, making it now the second-highest sale in Arizona history on the Multiple Listing Service, according to a press release.

Luxury Agent Ryan Hass of the Camelback Tower office at Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty represented the buyer and closed the deal. The buyer and seller names have not been disclosed, the press release stated.

The 15,000-square-foot private estate is nestled in the Upper Canyon of Silverleaf’s guard-gated community. Built in 2017, the property sits on 4.7 acres of modern mediterranean luxury. Architect Dale Gardon and builder Salcito Custom Homes are the minds behind this home.

The main house offers 6-bedroom, 8.5 bath and not only possesses a view of the city lights and desert, but also features a resort-style backyard with a modern deep diving pool.

A covered outdoor space opens to the backyard that houses water features, a spa, fire pits, kitchen, and multiple sitting areas with fireplaces and ceiling heaters.

The home features other amenities including state-of-the-art appliances, a large gym, a 6-car air conditioned garage, tennis court, seven fireplaces, butler’s pantry, and a wet bar. The estate also offers a state-of-the-art, fully equipped guest house that includes a washer/dryer, dual custom walk-in closets, and its own private outdoor space.

Mr. Hass’s sale comes just several months after Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty closed on the highest residential sale in the state’s history at $24.1 million in the fourth quarter of 2020.

In that deal, the brokerage represented both the seller and the buyer in transaction. Agent Shawna Warner, also of the Camelback Tower Office at Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty procured the buyer making Arizona history.

“This second record breaking sale is just more great news that we are continuing to see a strong upward trend in the luxury sector of the market,” said CEO Todd Gillenwater of Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty, in a prepared statement. “We are incredibly proud of our family of agents and these record-breaking sales also shows Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty continues to lead Arizona’s luxury real estate sector in this new era.”
