Say what you want, the fact of the matter is that it has become impossible to find a home in Scottsdale.

Impossible for families with children.

Impossible for Police officers, Firefighters, healthcare workers and Teachers.

Impossible for most recent college graduates to balance student loan debt and skyrocketing housing costs (if they can even find someplace at all).

Whitehead makes great speeches about "improving" the projects that come before City Council, but the attitude at City Council is so toxic Planning Commission meetings now get canceled because nothing is on the agenda.

How about coming forward with a plan to stimulate the development of family-friendly housing instead of choking off the supply completely? That would be true leadership.
