The YATA camp is open to Pinal County students who will be entering seventh-10th grades in fall 2023, according to a release.

The theme for this year is career exploration. Students will have an opportunity to learn about the different career paths available at Central Arizona College. They will gain experience with drones, renewable energy, AIT, robotics, 3D printing, fire science and more. Additionally, they will learn teamwork, communication skills, problem-solving skills and time management.

The Young Advanced Technology Academy will be held on the following dates:

  • June 5-8 for students enrolled in the seventh and eighth grades for fall 2023; and
  • June 12–15 for students entering the ninth and 10th grades in fall 2023

All camp sessions will run 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Thursday.
