St. Patrick’s show coming to Queen Creek

Queen Creek is the only stop in the Valley for the limited West Coast tour of “St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland.”

The event takes place at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 18 at the Queen Creek Performing Arts Center, 22149 E. Ocotillo Road.

St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland, produced by Kerry Irish Productions, showcases such Irish songs as “The Wild Rover” (often referred to as Ireland’s second national anthem), “Red is the Rose,” “Leaving of Limerick” and “Black Velvet Band,” as well as dancers from the Celtic Irish Dance Academy.

The program features artists from the Kerry Traditional Band: Ryan McKasson, fiddle; Colin Cotter, guitar; Christa Burch, vocals; Ann Colliton, bodhrán; and Tim Hill, uilleann pipes. Connor Reider is the principal dancer. The show is produced by Margaret O’Carroll.
