Queen Creek says ‘shut your lid’
Posted
The town of Queen Creek has a message for residents: make sure the lids on your trash and recycling carts are firmly closed.
Also, residents should refrain from overfilling trash and recycling carts. With the wind and rain that accompany monsoons, shutting your lid keeps trash and recycling materials inside and water out.
If a storm blows your cart away, walk around the neighborhood and check with neighbors before asking for a replacement. Most carts are found within a couple of days. If you can’t locate your cart, complete a service request form at QueenCreekAZ.gov/Recycle.
