Queen Creek Police have found the missing 80-year-old man who triggered a Silver Alert.

Daniel Avilez is 80 years old and has dementia.

Update: Missing Queen Creek man found in San Diego

Elderly man has dementia

Queen Creek Police have found the missing 80-year-old man who triggered a Silver Alert.

Daniel Avilez is 80 years old and has dementia.

He was last seen in the area of S. Ellsworth Road and East Barnes Parkway in Queen Creek on Tuesday, Feb. 28 around 4:35 p.m. He was driving a red 2014 Jeep Cherokee, according to the Queen Creek Police Department.

Avilez was found in the San Diego area. Police say he is safe and waiting to be reunited with his family.
